From smoked beers to doppel bocks .....
The authentic old world smoked beers from the Schlenkerla family brewery, are always popular. They are one of the oldest makers of smoked beers using the most ancient malting traditional methods and matured for months in historic cellars. We have four... the original Marzen, the Helles, plus the smoked wheat and smoked ur-bock.
Then there is a unique block beer, originally brewed by the monks since 1543. It is Germany's number one black beer.
Then there is the famous Ayinger doppel bock beer called Celebrator, ranked always in the high 90's.
On the lighter side is a hybrid beer, Kolsch, whose unique brewing style is protected by the city of Koln, Germany since the 1500's.
